We do two things:

- Music has an amazingly positive effect on older Americans.
- There are more than 800,000 older Americans who reside in 28,900 Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) across the country.
- Each year, we perform music for this population of seasoned citizens at several ALF throughout Southern California.
- The emotional, psychological and physiological impact on these older Americans is tremendous. (See the effects Music has on Seniors)
- Most ALF activity budgets are low and stretched thin making it difficult to offer residents quality performers.
- However, with your support of Musical Moments of Joy, we are able to offer high level performances to thousands of older Americans residing in hundreds of Assisted Living Facilities, for free.
